Fall 2012 Work Program

Debut work program underway to complete its initial $500,000 expenditure on the property before December 31, 2012

Beaver Tail and Otter properties:

  • Compilation of historical work completed
  • Otter Airborne geophysical survey completed
  • Prospecting completed
  • Line cutting and IP Surveys totaling +75 km – ongoing
  • IP Survey interpretation – January 2013

Beavertail Grid

  • Ground that was partially held by Cameco and Tri-Origin in the late 1990’s
  • 2006/2007 – Fletcher cuts grid and completes magnetometer survey
  • Fall 2012 – grid recut, now totals 33.5 km
  • Grid covers the Deloro and Tisdale contact
  • Geology similar to the Kerr Addison deposit (Historical production of 11M oz AU) where ultramafic contact is sheared and the rocks have been strongly altered
  • Several gold-in-bedrock occurrences and numerous syenite and porphyritic dykes are spatially associated with this contact/alteration zone
  • Zone has been traced for over 2.5 km and can be extended

Otter – Matawest Extension Grid

  • Grid totals 43 km – lines spaced at 200 meter intervals
  • Current grid covers western extension of grid previously established by Inmet Mining in the late 1990’s
  • 1996 – Inmet Mining cuts grid across their property to the western claim boundary following a strongly altered zone, along the Deloro and Tisdale contact
  • Otter Property covers the former Inmet claims and the area to the west of their former claim boundary
  • Matawest Zone represents almost 4 km of favourable strike length along the proposed extension of the Galer Lake Fault (branch off of the Cadillac – Larder Lake Break)

Beavertail – Otter IP Surveys

  • Dec-2012 – Beavertail IP survey
  • Jan-2013 – Otter-Matawest Extension IP survey
  • Jan-2013 – IP survey interpretation

February 2013 – Diamond Drilling – Phase 1

  • Drill test priority geophysical targets associated with significant grab samples and favourable geology
  • Drill testing planned for 10 to 12 holes – totaling 2,000 meters
