Frank earned his B.A. and LL.B. degrees at the University of Western Ontario and was admitted to The Law Society of Upper Canada in 1976. He left the practice of law to join the resource industry in 1987 and has served as Executive Director of Deak Resources Corporation and as Chairman and CEO of both MacDonald Mines Exploration Limited and MacDonald Oil Exploration Limited, when they were both active in exploring their various concessions in the Republic of Cuba. He has been a director of numerous resource companies including Northfield Capital Corporation, Northfield Minerals Inc., NFX Gold Inc., Genoil Inc., Nuinsco Resources Limited, Perrex Gold Inc., Conquest Resources Limited and Armistice Resources Limited. He is currently the Managing Director of Fletcher Nickel Inc. In 1998 Frank was first elected a Director of KWG and became its Chief Executive Officer in 2004.
Bruce Reid is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Carlisle Goldfields Ltd., as well as a Director. Mr. Reid was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Silver Corp. from June 2006 to November 2009 as well as Vice-President, Corporate Finance of Research Capital from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Reid has extensive experience in corporate finance and in the mining and mineral exploration industry. His background includes more than 30 years of direct experience in the mining industry following graduation with a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Toronto in 1979 and a finance degree from the University of Windsor.
Douglas M. Flett
Douglas M. Flett, J.D, graduated from the University of Windsor Law School in 1972 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1974. He practiced in his own commercial law firm until 1996 when he retired from the law for a new career in the mining industry. He has been a Director of KWG Resources Inc. since 2006 and served on various committees during that time. He is a past Director of Kenora Prospectors & Miners Ltd., and is past President and currently a Director of Fletcher Nickel Inc. He continues to be a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Luce L. Saint-Pierre
Ms. Luce L. Saint-Pierre is a member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants and of the Quebec Bar Association. Ms. Saint-Pierre has been Secretary of KWG Resources Inc. since January 1996 and was Chief Financial Officer from June 1999 until February 2002. Ms. Saint-Pierre has worked for 15 years (1972-1987) for a national accounting firm where she served as partner for seven years. She completed her law degree from 1989 to 1992 and was admitted to the Bar in 1994. She is also secretary of Dia Bras Exploration Inc., a company trading on TSX-V, St. Genevieve Resources Ltd, a company trading on CNQ as well as Strategic Exploration (STREX) Inc.
Martin was most recently the Senior Vice President, Exploration for De Beers Canada and held this role from 2005 to 2011. Having started his career with Anglo American in 1977, he has worked in many parts of the world for De Beers and Anglo American. Beginning in diamond exploration in Botswana, Martin relocated to the De Beers Marine division and worked on the development of Namibia and South Africa marine deposits and later moved to South America where he brought his extensive marine experience to Anglo American’s Tierramar Marine Gold Project, and later continued diamond exploration for De Beers in South America. Martin graduated in 1977 with a BSc (Hons) Geology from the University Of Aberdeen, Scotland and with an MBA in 1987 from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
